Who are you and what do you do?

I’m the co-founder of TempaGoGo – an award-winning online marketplace taking the pain away from temporary agency recruitment.

Prior to being an entrepreneur, I spent 10 years in the private and public sector, focusing on introducing cutting-edge technology into organisations running on decades old manual processes.

What’s the story behind your success?

While there are 1.6 million temp agency workers in the UK, the second largest temp market in the world, recruiting temp staff is very bureaucratic and time-consuming – it shouldn’t be that way!

TempaGoGo, the brain child of a tech & recruitment veteran and an AI-fanatic is here to help companies, in particular SMEs, find and work with multiple agencies at the same time, online, to find great candidates fast, at better rates.

Why can we order grocery, book holidays, select insurance online, but still have to pick up the phone and call agencies one by one to find temp staff?

What’s been your life’s biggest lesson so far?

Perseverance and grit – that’s what matters as an entrepreneur!

What advice would you give to your younger self?

Don’t be afraid about not knowing what your career will look like in 5-10 years’ time, and embrace the opportunities!

What three tools makes your business run better?

Xero, Amazon Web Services and Canva!
