Quick Interview with Ruth Chubb
Who are you and what do you do?
My name is Ruth and I’m the founder of the Three Bears Cookery Club.
Our cookery clubs support the cooking and nutrition curriculum in EYFS, KS1 & KS2. We work with primary schools and nurseries giving children the opportunity to learn how to cook in a fun and novel way.

As well as our primary school and nursery clubs we also offer holiday clubs and a weekend club for children to come along too. Everything is included in the club and they can take home what they have made. We make sweet and savoury dishes each using different techniques for them to learn without even realising they are learning!
We can also cater for a child’s birthday party, offering fun baking parties for them and their friends. Our parties are suitable from ages 2+ and we have a range of party packages to choose from.

What would you call yourself?
A thinker – I like to think everything through, that includes every step I make.
What’s been your life’s biggest lesson so far?
That marketing is an ongoing thing. You have to keep plugging your business and not just being over ‘salesy’ but using blogs and fun social media posts to help you get your business message out there.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
To go for it, every step in your career is another bit of experience to add to your life experience.
What three tools makes your business run better?
WhatsApp for talking to my team and Snapseed for perfecting my pictures for social media and my blogs.
